Облигации серии ЕЕ, впервые появившиеся в 1980 г. и заменившие пользовавшиеся большим спросом облигации серии Е. Эти новые облигации имеют номиналы от 50 долл., 75 долл. до 10 000 долл. и продаются по цене в два раза меньше номинала. Процентные ставки по облигациям серии ЕЕ меняются в зависимости от рыночных условий в пределах одного процента с интервалом раз в полгода. В настоящее время срок обращения облигаций серии ЕЕ снизился с 9 до 8 лет, а ставка процента по ним поднялась до 9. Ставка процента по облигациям серии НН составляет 8,5. Облигации серии НН продаются по номинальной стоимости, имеют срок обращения 10 лет, а проценты по ним выплачиваются раз в полгода. В 1982 г. было разрешено выпускать сберегательные облигации США с плавающей процентной ставкой. В результате инвестиционный доход от этих облигаций возрос и достиг уровня 85% от дохода по пятилетним казначейским ценным бумагам при условии сохранения их до срока погашения.Англо-русский словарь по инвестициям > variable interest rate U.
